The CBT Nuggets iOS app will retire on July 1, 2024
This change comes after careful consideration of learner usage and feedback. Retiring the iOS app allows us to focus resources on the tools that best serve our learners — like creating great training to help you achieve even more.
What this means for iOS app users:
If your subscription is paid through the iOS app or the App Store, your billing is being managed by Apple. You will need to move your subscription from Apple to CBT Nuggets.
Once you’ve converted your subscription, you’ll still have access to the same high-quality training content and features you’ve come to expect on your phone or tablet through your browser. Just visit cbtnuggets.com/login and enter your email and password to start training.
The mobile experience still has features and benefits you need to train on the go, like full access to the CBT Nuggets training library and practice exams to get you ready for test day.

The CBT Nuggets Android app has been retired.
The Android app was retired in 2023. It has remained accessible for those who downloaded it prior to the retirement date. The app will remain accessible in this capacity through July 31, 2024. After that point, you can no longer log in to the app.
Converting your Apple subscription to a CBT Nuggets subscription
If you signed up for your CBT Nuggets subscription through the iOS app or the App Store, your billing is being managed by Apple. You will need to convert your subscription from Apple to CBT Nuggets to avoid any interruption in training.
Apple-managed subscriptions will no longer renew after July 1, 2024.
Add your new payment method:
- Log into your account via web browser by visiting cbtnuggets.com/login.
- Under “My account,” you’ll see payment details like the below.
- Select “Add payment method” and add your new payment details.
- To turn on auto-renew, select “Turn on auto-renew” once your new payment details are saved.

What happens on July 1, 2024?
Our current iOS mobile app will no longer be compatible with or available for download in the Apple stores after July 1, 2024. This is because it was built on an outdated version of the iOS operating system.
The app itself may not disappear from your device, but CBT Nuggets will no longer support the app. New training will not be available on the app, and it will not be available for download in the Apple iTunes store. That means we won’t be able to address any concerns around functionality, and you may experience issues if you continue training through the iOS app after that time. In order to access all training and features, you will need to train through your browser instead by visiting cbtnuggets.com/login.
As of August 1, 2024, you will no longer be able to log into the app.
My subscription is through the Apple iTunes store. How do I update my payment info?
You'll need to update your payment information to ensure there's no interruption to your training. You'll find steps to update your payment method here.
Can I still train on my phone or tablet?
Yes! You can still train from your phone or tablet without the iOS app. Visit cbtnuggets.com/login in your browser, and use your email and password to log in and start training. If you’ve only ever authenticated via iOS app and don’t have a CBT Nuggets password, you’ll need to cancel your subscription with Apple and reactivate using the steps here.
Can I still download videos to train offline?
As of July 1, 2024, CBT Nuggets does not support any apps (including both Android and iOS applications) and you should use the mobile web experience to perform all training.
Will my progress sync from the app to my account?
Yes, your progress will sync from the app as long as there is a data/Wi-Fi connection when you are accessing the app.
Is the CBT Nuggets Android app still supported?
No, the Android app was retired in 2023.
