Learning Activity and Enrollments reports provide administrators with visibility into learner activity, course engagement, completion progress, and training effectiveness. These reports help organizations track learning outcomes, identify skill gaps, and make informed decisions about team development.
This article explains the available reporting tools, common report types, and how to access and export reporting data.

Who Can Access Reporting Tools?
Organization-level reporting access is available to:
- Account Owners
- Learning Admins
- Groups Admins for their groups
Personal reporting is available to everyone in the My Analytics section of their account.
Accessing Reports
For your Organization:
- Sign in to your CBT Nuggets account
- Select Learners from the left navigation menu
- Here you will find Summary analytics, people and group management, learning activity reports, and enrollment reports
To access your own usage data:

Select My Analytics from the left navigation menu
To access your own enrollment completion data, select Enrollments from the left navigation menu. Here you will see the status and progress for all of your Enrollments.
Available Report Types
Learning Activity
Track the learning progress of your org members, including:
- Last Trained date
- Hours of training
- Skills completed
- Questions answered
- Comments posted
- Lab and Exam hours
Use the dropdown at the top of the report to select your date range. Click on a learner’s name to drill into their learning activity.
Enrollments
Track enrollment progress by Course, Learner, or Group. Here you will find all of your team’s enrollment details, including:
- Status (Not started, Active, Completed)
- Admin and Self-enrollments
- Progress (percentage of completion)
- Enrolled on, started on, and last trained dates
Click on the Learner name, Course name, or Group name to drill in for more information.
My Analytics
Any learner can see their own Analytics over various date ranges. Information available includes:
- Skills completed
- Hours of Training
- Questions answered
- Enrollment start dates
- Who enrolled them in the course (self or admin)
Filtering & Customizing Reports
Your reports support filters and column customization.
Date ranges
Select the date range at the top of your report or enter a custom date range.
Filters
Each column has a filter. Click the filter button to select the criteria you want to see.
Customizations
Click the More Actions button to see your sort options, autosize columns, and to choose which columns you see and in which order.
Search
Use the search box for a quick and easy way to search on a page.
Note: Your reports have a date and time stamp showing when data is updated through. Click the refresh button to update.
Exporting Reports
Many CBT Nuggets reports can be exported for offline review or sharing.
To export a report:
- Open the desired report.
- Apply any necessary filters.
- Click the Download button in the upper right corner.
- Choose your preferred file format (CSV or xlsx).
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of Completion are available and downloadable for all completed courses.
Access a Learner's Certifications of Completion
If you are an account owner or Learning Admin, you can access any of your Org members' Certificates of Completion. To do so:
- Sign in to your CBT Nuggets account
- Select Learners from the left navigation menu
- Select Learning Activity
- Click on the name of the Learner in the User column
- Select View Profile
- Here you will find all of their completed courses. You can download or email PDFs of their Certificates of Completion
Access your own Certificates of Completion
- Sign in to your CBT Nuggets account
- Click on your profile icon in the upper right corner of the page
- Select View Profile
- From here, you can download or email PDFs of your Certificates of Completion
Troubleshooting & Reporting Issues
I can't see reporting options
Possible causes include:
- Insufficient permissions
- Incorrect account role
- Reporting not enabled for your organization
Contact CBT Nuggets Support for assistance.
Report data appears incomplete
Try the following:
- Verify selected date ranges
- Check applied filters
- Refresh the report
- Confirm learner activity occurred during the selected timeframe
Export fails or downloads incorrectly
If exports do not complete:
- Try another browser
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Reduce the report date range
- Retry the export
Best Practices
- Review reports regularly to monitor learner engagement.
- Use filters to create focused reports for departments or teams.
- Export reports periodically for historical tracking.
- Combine reporting insights with organizational training goals.
